Belly dancing stemmed from the Middle Eastern part of the world, which is where Abir Sabri is from. This type of dance is often simply called Middle Eastern dance. It is an ancient art that is said to stem from religious rituals. The part about it being religious is not completely verified, but many do stick to that story.
I haven’t seen any video clips of Abir Sabri dancing, but she must be a very accomplished belly dancer if she is famous for it. In fact, I have only seen Abir Sabri pictures circulating the world wide web for some reason.
These days in the United States of America, you can learn to belly dance through many methods that do not include traveling to Egypt or other parts of the Middle East. However, the authenticity of the art of belly dancing on these resources cannot be really authenticated by myself, so if you are looking for the real deal, I do not know where to find it. You can find belly dancing resource via certain exercise videos and even read about methods and techniques of dancing on the internet.
As far as belly dancing attire is concerned, I can tell you of what I saw Abir Sabri wearing in some of the belly dancing pictures that are online. Actually, these pictures may indeed not be Abir Sabri herself because many of them are cut off at the head so I cannot confirm whether those pictures were of her or not. Anyway, the garments were flowing long and colorful skirts with two very long slits so as to allow movement, and also the top covered just a little above the top of the ribs so as to show off the belly with either long frilly sleeves or no just fringes for sleeves. There were also shiny and nice metal ornaments on the belly dancing attire.
