Disney’s Pixel Perfect is actually a movie about a young boy named Roscoe, who is played by Ricky Ullman, who creates a holographic superstar to be the lead singer in his friend Samantha’s band named the Zettabytes. The holographic young female lead singer is named Loretta Modern. Loretta Modern is played by Spencer Redford. Samantha is played by Leah Pipes.
Samantha feels a little threatened by Loretta Modern, even though she is a holograph. I really do love the movie’s title Pixel Perfect. Disney’s Pixel Perfect is a clever play on words that works very well. Loretta Modern can sing and dance and everyone loves her. Samantha likes Roscoe, but Roscoe is too wrapped up in making Loretta Modern perfect adding plugins and more programming to her makeup as a holograph.
Well, I will not give all of the Disney’s Pixel Perfect plot away. The thing that I like about Pixel Perfect is that the actors and actresses played their roles quite well. Ricky Ullman, who play Roscoe, really looked tortured and stressed when he was supposed to. Leah Pipes played the jealous girl well also.
Is Disney’s Pixel Perfect suitable for children of all ages? Well, I am no expert in this area, but I would say that Pixel Perfect has some content that may be too mature for children under the age of seven. Kids these days are growing up and learning things way too fast, in my opinion. Dating and being very attracted to the other gender, as normal as it is, should be left until a later age. Call me old-fashioned, but I’m sticking to those point of views.
Disney’s Pixel Perfect isn’t the great Disney movie ever, but it certainly isn’t too shabby. If your kids do watch Pixel Perfect, they will probably be bouncing around the house singing the catchy bubble gum pop songs from the soundtrack of Pixel Perfect.
If you are deciding whether or not to let your children watch Pixel Perfect, why don’t you watch it first to see if it’s suitable? That is, if you can stand nearly two hours of a made-for-older-children Disney movie. Altogether, I have nothing against Pixel Perfect. I would indeed allow my children that are over seven years of age to with Disney’s Pixel Perfect movie.]
