To be honest, I’m not that big of a Girl Talk fan but I’ve heard a whole bunch of Greg Gillis stuff because I’ve got many friends who love his sound. I gotta admit though, Girl Talk indeed has a quite unique sound. If you haven’t yet heard Girl Talk, go check out Greg Gillis’ previous album entitled Night Ripper. FYI, Greg Gillis is a mashup artist and music producer. Mashup artists are a different deal than DJs are, and if you don’t know what I’m talking about than just go ahead and listen to his stuff.
Night Ripper’s sounds are mixed fat beats with a little bit of rock and a big tinge of hip-hop and a little bit of techno with a little bit of craziness that only Girl Talk can bring. I haven’t yet heard the LP Girl Talk Feed the Animals, but I’m guessing that it should please the Illegal Art following. According to what was reported that Gillis said, Feed the Animals LP should be a little more mellow and smoother than Night Ripper. I would like to listen to a few tracks and dissect what’s in the mashup…very interesting stuff!
Well, whether you love getting inspiration or working out to the tracks of Girl Talk, or perhaps you like banging his beats in the club, Girl Talk Feed the Animals should be an interesting LP whichever is your outlook. I haven’t seen anything online or on any other type of media that confirms the available purchase of Girl Talk Feed the Animals just yet, but I will definitely be on the lookout for the new album and keep you posted as to Feed the Animals.
