So You Think You Can Dance? Well, now that American Idol is over, you are probably looking for another great talent reality show to follow. You should definitely check out So You Think You Can Dance! It’s not too late as season 4 has just begun and they are at the point of the last auditions before the Las Vegas casting for the top 20 dancers who will make it to the show.

So You Think You Can Dance is the question that is posed, and most of the dancers who try out for this television dancing competition show think that they very well can dance. Well, for me, no…I’ve got two left feet. But, boy do I love this show! The dancing talent of all dancers is amazing…that is, the ones that make the final top 20. So You Think You Can Dance auditions are very similar to those of American Idol: Sometimes you see great talent in certain ones that audition, and sometimes you get odd balls in search of attention from the cameras. That’s the entertainment industry for you!

Well, tonight’s 2-hour episode of So You Think You Can Dance will be the last of the auditions for season 4. It will be interesting to see what they find. My favorites so far are…gee, I’m really bad at remembering names. There’s the street popper and trick dancer who is extremely flexible. Nigel Lythgoe asked him to do the dance move where he bends over backwards until his head is on the ground. That dude is awesome! I would like to see him make the top 20. I really do hope he can take on the choreography and show some potential for the different dance genres that they throw at him as well as all the dancers.

Then there was the ballet/hip-hop/tap/jazz dancer who did a modern ballet and contemporary piece that was so stunningly graceful and masculine that all of the judges that day were left just awestruck. I feel he has major potential to actually win the whole thing because not only did he show off his amazing technique and grace, but he seems to have a quite winning and likable personality.

I apologize for not mentioning names of the dancers. So You Think You Can Dance’s host Cat Deeley has been with So You Think You Can Dance for three years now. Doesn’t she make for a great host? I like the way she deals with those that audition that have some crude mannerisms. It is hilarious to see affectionate-in-nature Dominic from season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance flirting with Cat Deeley…she handles it so well.

So get ready for tonight’s So You Think You Can Dance final auditions episode. I really can’t wait to hear Mary Murphy scream and announce that certain dancers are on the Hot Tamale Train, as she puts it. Mary Murphy is indeed a funny and infectious character of So You Think You Can Dance. In fact all the judges of So You Think You Can Dance have their different quirks and characteristics.

Mia Michaels seems to be the serious, but soft-hearted judge of So You Think You Can Dance. She shows her empathy for people in a rather forward manner. It was touching to see how much she appreciated the performance of the young female dancer who had a vision disability. This was certainly no act.

Last year’s season of So You Think You Can Dance was absolutely awesome! I would like to season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance top last year. At the beginning of season 3, I really didn’t notice Sabra probably because Dominic (who she was partnered with) tended to sometimes steal the show and the attention of the audience with his comical personality. Sabra, however, did catch everyone’s attention with her great rhythm and dancing abilities. She was the hopeful one in the rendition of the dance choreographed by Rob with the song Waiting on the World to Change by John Mayer. Also, it was great to see a female dancer win on So You Think You Can Dance.

Well, enough of the trip down memory lane with So You Think You Can Dance. June 4…2 hour episode of the final auditions for season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance. Be there or be square!
