One thing that struck my attention when SoReal Cru was being interviewed was their ‘whack handshake’. Explosive! A little corny, but corny is not a word to describe So Real Cru’s dancing. Another odd ball fact is the most unusual place that SoReal Cru had to rehearse, according to Ailyn when asked by dance choreographer Shane Sparks, was at Denny’s at 4 a.m. in the morning. Interesting place to pick for dance rehearsals. I would much rather prefer the streets.
So what exactly makes SoReal Cru so hot? SoReal Cru has got great fluidity and detail in their dance movement and choreography. Coming straight out of Houston, SoReal Cru has brought back to life dancing hip-hop to slow grooves and r&b music. SoReal Cru is the only dance crew that I have seen on America’s Best Dance Crew season 2 to tackle a slow song. Great stuff!
The live auditions of America’s Best Dance Crew season 2 brought forth a good amount of talented dance crews. The thing that made SoReal Cru stand out for me is their choreography to the slow and sexy r&b music…in the words of Paris Hilton, that’s hot!
I am not sure if SoReal Cru is my favorite dance crew on America’s Best Dance Crew season 2, but I certainly do like their style and the image that they have as of now. SoReal Cru keeps it real with just the right amount of swagger, no nonsense, and not a hint of overwhelming cockiness.
Judges have said that SoReal Cru’s dance moves are reminiscent of Kaba Modern. I agree with this statement, however this is not to say that SoReal Cru does not have a uniqueness about them. I am definitely looking forward to seeing much more of SoReal Cru in the upcoming episodes of America’s Best Dance Crew season 2.

another thing to like about So Real is that they did a hip-hopified version of a Chinese Cultural dance - 1000 hand GuanYin - in their set. Eye-catching and creative stuff! But I’m still voting for Boogie Bots, and you should too! =P

Well guys, I haven’t yet found out exactly who the artist is that sings the slow and sexy R&B song that SoReal Cru danced to in the live auditions of America’s Best Dance Crew. Some people are saying that it’s a remake or sample of Omarion’s O. Well, it does sound like O a little bit, it’s not quite there. mtv producers created that song, or should i say “remixed” it from samples of who knows what, but yes it’s supposed to sound similar to “O” by Omarion because that segment of the dance came from one of their performances in which they used “O”.
