This is the first I have heard of the Taste of Times Square festival of food. I personally am not a native to New York and have only traveled to New York once. Boy, was Times Square a sight to see! They have got every store and shop imaginable there…The Hershey’s Store, Olive Garden, McDonalds, MTV headquarters, and even a Quiksilver surf shop! The Taste of Times Square is a great attraction for not just the tourists and the tourism industry, but also it is a great treat for the local New Yorkers.
If you want to get cultured in city life in the USA, New York City is the place to be cultured with Broadway, Fine dining restaurants such as Tavern on the Green, the famous and chic 5th Avenue starring the likes of designers such as Prada and Gucci and Louis Vuitton, and not forgetting the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Anyway, back to the Taste of Times Square. The best thing about the Taste of Times Square is that admission is free! That’s right. So if you are heading out to Times Square or are going to be somewhere near there, head out to the Taste of Times Square at West 46th Street between Broadway and Ninth Avenue, including Restaurant Row.
So, I bet you’re wondering who is going to be participating in the Taste of Times Square, huh? Well, among the participants will be Hard Rock Cafe, Virgil’s Real Barbecue, Hawaii Tropic Zone, and even Churrascaria Plataforma.
Yes, admission to the Taste of Times Square festival is free, but food tickets need to be purchased in order to get food. I can almost smell the great and tasty food!!! Enjoy!
