London Tipton is played by Brenda Song. The character London Tipton comes from the storyline of the Disney show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The suite that the majority of the show is shot in is called the Tipton, and London Tipton is heiress to the Tipton hotel.
London Tipton is not the main character of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, but she, along with Ashley Tisdale’s character Maddy, play the role of the young females in the show. Girls will look more towards London Tipton and Maddy more than they will towards the characters Zack and Cody.
London Tipton is a spoiled little rich girl who is a little dense. She does not fully understand what working is because she has everything given to her and has a lot at her fingertips.
So, is London Tipton a good role model for the kids that watch The Suite Life of Zack and Cody on the Disney channel? Well, there are certain sides of London that are sweet and caring, but the majority of the time there are many things that just fly straight over her head.
Personally, I would not my daughter to fashion herself after the likes of London Tipton, but I do not mind if she watches The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. You can only blame the media and television for so much, right?
The thing that I like about the Disney channel is that they show the young actors and actresses outside of the shows that they star in on interviews and commercials on the Disney channel. This helps in assisting children to separate the real life actor or actress from the character that he or she plays in a movie or television show, for instance Brenda Song and London Tipton. I love that they take an interest in letting the children viewers know what their poster kids they feature on the Disney channel are doing for the positive.
