Well, I personally think that the Toyota iQ microcar looks somewhat futuristic. It reminds me of the cars on the futuristic movies like iRobot…I think those cars were either Volve or Audi, though (can’t quite remember). The iQ is really tiny, though, but that’s why it’s a microcar, right? This ultra-compact car is a 2-door vehicle that is designed to fit up to three normal sized adults along with one child. As stylish and eco-friendly as the Toyota iQ is, this is indeed not a family car so if you are looking to purchase a nice family vehicle, you are better off asking your Toyota dealer for a Siena instead.
I have seen the Toyota iQ in the color gray and one in white. They both look stylish. The thing that I like most about the looks of the iQ is the headlights. I haven’t read anything about the energy source of this new Toyota concept car…only that it is supposed to be environmentally-friendly. Toyota is also scheduled to release more hybrid cars including one SUV called the Toyota Urban Cruiser.
It’s a great thing that car makers are gearing the new cars towards being hybrid cars and eco-friendly. Not only will these new vehicles be great for the environment, but they will also be friendly on our wallet’s and savings accounts as the gas prices these days are skyrocketing.
Well, I am not in the market for buying a new car right now, but if you are planning to, there have been a load of concept cars that were unveiled at recent auto shows. The Toyota iQ is just one of those cars. Of the other makes and models include the Scion Hako and the Jeep Renegade. I have always had a soft spot for Toyota though because the very first car that I ever owned happened to be a Toyota.
