GM is having a 72 hour sale in which they will try to clear out all 2008 backlog vehicles. The GM 72 hour sale means big savings for those of you in the market for buying a new car, so you will want to head on out to you local GM car dealership tomorrow.

Just what kind of offers are available at the GM 72 hour sale? Well, GM General Motors is offering 0% financing for loans for as long as six years on almost all of their 2008 models of cars, trucks, and SUVs. However, their are some vehicles that are model 2008 that will not be available for the 0% financing. The GM 72 hour sale will not include the GM Hybrid vehicles, the Chevy Malibu, Cadillac CTS sedans, and 3 row crossover sport utility vehicles. So, if you want to buy a new Chevrolet, Cadillac, or other GM vehicle listed in the previous sentence, the GM 72 hour sale will not get you that great deal.

So, what are you looking for if you’re going to go to a GM car dealership to get in the GM 72 hour sale? I am not in the market yet for buying a new car, but if I were to purchase a car, I think I will look for something that will not eat up too much gas. Gas prices in Hawaii are reaching $5.00 a gallon, and on some of the islands, it is already at five bucks. GM makes some powerhouse SUVs and other vehicles, but as good as power and torque is, a well-powered car will cost you some big bucks at the gas station.
